Course Details

In the Senior Secondary program, boys undertake the internationally recognised South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). Students can opt for a fully academic program on the pathway to achieving an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and tertiary studies, or a program rich in Vocational Education and Training, or a mixture of these

Student wellbeing

Blackfriars values a safe learning environment that nurtures the wellbeing of students and provides them with a place to achieve their optimum in all pursuits.

Like all students at Blackfriars, international students are allocated to a House where they meet and interact with students from other year levels and become involved in activities that promote friendly competition and cooperation. Within their House, students are assigned a Home Group teacher who works closely with the student to provide academic and personal support.

Specialist counsellors are also available to assist students with specific personal matters, English language support and to provide advice about subject selections, university and career pathways
